ViveTel VoIP Fair Usage Policy (FUP)
1. Purpose
The purpose of this Fair Usage Policy is to ensure that all ZaazCloud VoIP customers enjoy high-quality and reliable service. This policy is designed to prevent abuse, excessive usage, or any activities that may degrade service performance for other users.
2. Applicability
This Fair Usage Policy applies to all ZaazCloud VoIP plans including Mini, Freedom, and Mini Office packages.
3. Inbound and Outbound Calling
“Unlimited Inbound Calling” is provided based on fair residential or business usage.
Outbound calling minutes included in each package are intended for normal personal or business use and are subject to the package limits (150, 400, or 600 minutes).
Excessive usage that exceeds:
3,500 inbound minutes per month
or
2,000 outbound minutes per month (Business users)
may be flagged for review.
4. SMS Messaging
Included SMS limits (100, 250, or 400 messages) are based on reasonable use for personal and business communication.
Bulk messaging, marketing blasts, or spamming activities are strictly prohibited.
5. Extensions and Subaccounts
Business plans offering multiple extensions (subaccounts) are intended for use within a single business entity.
Sharing account credentials across multiple businesses or unrelated users is not permitted.
6. Prohibited Usage
The following uses are explicitly prohibited:
Auto-dialers, predictive dialers, robocalls, or telemarketing
Call centers or high-volume outbound marketing
Resale of service without authorization
Illegal activities under Canadian law
7. Overage and Suspension
Users exceeding included minutes or SMS may be charged overage fees according to the current rate schedule.
ZaazCloud reserves the right to temporarily suspend, throttle, or terminate service in cases of abuse or violation of this Fair Usage Policy without prior notice.
8. Policy Updates
ZaazCloud reserves the right to modify this Fair Usage Policy at any time. Updated versions will be posted on our website and effective immediately upon publication.
